    Have you ever thought that your life was crumbling down? If it is your case this article is for you since crumb is a fantastic, shocking, incredible,, crazy, alternative, original, caricatural, sex obsessed… he is unique. He is an american artist who started from streets and arrived to have a work from toyota of 100 000$. This amazing cartoonist has a period in which he has an obsession with sex, a wild,dirty and dark obsession. I will treat this Crumb’s pervert side.

 

    Why is sex so important for Crumb?

He explored his own sexual fantasies through his comics and shared his preferred style of female figure: amazonian women with ample bumps and curves. One comic cover featured the tagline “What do those hippy chicks do when they do their thing?” Some felt that Crumb’s work underestimated women, and others found his comics obscene and still others like me found this comics awesome.

              He represents himself as rude, ugly, sex obsessed. Maybe he represents himself as he’s not in real life, maybe that’s what he has inside. Or maybe not.                         

   While he writes and draws, it permits him to escape from reality leading his perverse side to come out and explore all his fantasies even the most dark and strange. But the reality is that he’s brain is totally destroyed because of drugs, more particularly LSD. The regular assumption of drugs transformed his vision of things.

   This is him under drugs. He is convinced to possess a third eye. Well, now we know he has something more then normal and mortal people as us.

 

   After a research that I did on his personal life I’ve found that he thinks that if it was not for drugs he would maybe never did the work he did. But it’s true that for him comics are a world apart or maybe his personal reality, it’s like if he lives on his comics in the ones he represents himself often as a dirty pervert or as a drug addict who has a special perception of everything around him.

   The sex obsession is a big part of his life he has consecrated a comic called “sex obsessions” and he rewrote the book of Genesis, a pornografic version.

 

   Sex obsessions is a piece of art. In this book are present all the most curious, strange, extroverted Robert Crumb’s sex obsessions.

   He uses recurring motifs including big strong girls, artistic wimps triumphantly subduing said girls,cavewomen, Yetis, vulture demonesses, bitter little guys, and did we mention big strong girls? All his sexual fantasies even the most hard are in this book.

In this cartoon we can remark that the man named “Mr. Guy” that maybe represents Crumb can’t resist to the tentations if it treats about big strong girls.

   With this cartoon we can see that Crumb’s does not respect women while he is thinking about sex. His fantasies are really pushed to the extreme. Here the woman looks like a sauvage animal.

   To conclude, Robert Crumb is an artist who knows how to make people enter in his word. He has this capacity of transmitting in different ways his thought. His sex obsession is like another world where he can exercises every form of perversion with any women he wants. It’s maybe a kind of paradise.
